Alterations and Extension, Helmsdale, Sutherland

Completed in November 2002, this residential project was a large extension to a remote house in the North of Scotland.

The extension is sympathetic to the original building in scale and external treatment, however the interior spaces created, high quality materials and large glazed areas contribute to the modern aesthetic of the completed development.

The glazed gable and glazed double height entrance areas exploit the stunning views to the ocean from the first floor living room and ground floor dining room.
