Carden Melville Church

The building has been re-developed with the delicate insertion of an additional three storeys of accommodation, within the original sanctuary area. The detailing of the alterations respect the fabric of the original building, with original features retained. Where the insertions meet the original building fabric, the effect of the alteration has been minimised so as not to be obtrusive to the external aesthetic of the church.

This re-development was awarded an Aberdeen Civic Society Commendation for conversion in 1999
